Natural Gas Liquids

Natural gas liquids (NGLs) are a group of hydrocarbons including natural gasoline, propane, ethane, butane, and isobutane. Vortex Energy actively trades NGLs in addition to natural gas and crude oil.

NGLs are components of natural gas that turn into liquids when they are separated from the gas state. These liquids are commonly used as fuel for heating, cooking, and vehicles. Additionally, certain NGLs such as butane are also used in the production of synthetic rubber and lighter fluid. NGLs have a variety of uses.
